Number One Financial Firm based in Dublin, Ireland–Senior C++ Developer–(C++, C#, Multithreading, Windows Visual Studio)-Circa 85,000 Euros + bonuses and benefits
A global financial house seek a strong C++ developer to join one of their most successful and dynamic teams.
Due to the expansive nature of the company, this position has arisen to facilitate the inevitable growth of this team.
As a Senior C++ developer you will be in a team with some of the strongest technologists in the industry, which you can feed off on a daily basis.
The C++ developer will take a hands on approach to the development of multi-threaded systems that affect the P&L of the business, globally and will report to the Team Head.
As a direct result of the continued growth of the team, the C++ developer will have massive scope for progression through the team.
Responsibilities:
-Development of multi-threaded systems.
-To play a lead role in the design, implementation and support of some of the most critical functions of the business.
-Actively use your development skills on highly visible projects that add significant value to their clients.
-Take the lead on some development projects.
The person:
-Solid C++ programming experience,
-Windows Visual Studio,
-Expert C++ skills. Practical experience of using C++ to build multi-threaded applications,
-Knowledge of C# is an advantage,
-Fluency in spoken and written English,
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills–should be able to describe examples of how these have been applied,
-Capable of meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure/multi-tasking,
-Strong sense of personal responsibility,
-Good team player. Capable of working under a fast pace and dynamic environment.
